Voice in Grammar

Voice
বাচ্য

ক্রিয়া (Verb) প্রকাশের ধরণকে বাচ্য বলে। 

Voice ২ প্রকার। যথাঃ 
1. Active Voice 
2. Passive Voice


Voice পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম:
Active to Passive

Rule 1:
Active Voice এর Object কে Passive Voice এ Subject করতে হবে।

Rule 2:
Active Voice এর Subject  কে Passive Voice এ Object করতে হবে এবং তার পূর্বে by বসাতে হবে। 
কিন্তু Principal verb, known হলে by এর পরিবর্তে to, pleased হলে at এবং surprised হলে with বসবে।

Rule 3:
Active Voice এর Auxiliary Verb নিম্নের নিয়মে পরিবর্তন করতে হবে
Present Indefinite Tense     : am/is/are
Past Indefinite Tense          : was/were
Future Indefinite Tense      : shall be/will be

Present Continuous Tense   :   am being/is being/are being
Past Continuous Tense        :   was being/were being
Future Continuous Tense    :   shall be being/will be being

Present Perfect Tense     : have been/has been
Past Perfect Tense          : had been
Future Perfect Tense      : shall have been/will have been

Rule 4:
can, could, may, might, should, would, must, ought to, going to এগুলোর পরে be বসাতে হবে।

Rule 5:
Active Voice এর Principal verb কে Past Participle form এ পরিবর্তন করতে হবে

Example:

Active: I eat rice.
Passive: Rice is eaten by my.

Active: They play football.
Passive: Football is played by them.

Active: He killed a bird.
Passive: A bird was killed by him.

Active: I know him.
Passive: He is known to me.

Active: I know him.
Passive: He is known to me.

Active: He pleased me.
Passive: I was pleased at him.

Active: He surprised me.
Passive: I was surprised with him.
